PLA will host a Trick or Treat Street next Thursday, October 30th at 3:30-4:00 pm. Everyone will gather in front of the school and walk around to collect candy! Students can wear their costume on this day! (nothing too scary and no toy weapons)

This month we will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Students will be learning about 3 famous Hispanic Leaders starting next week. The people they will be learning about are; Lin-Manuel Miranda (actor, music composer etc.), Cesar Chavez (Civil Rights Activist), and Ellen Ochoa ( First Hispanic Women to travel to Space). To kick off the month we invite students to dress up in cultural wear from their Countries of origin, this Friday, September 12th! Uniforms are NOT required.
