Dear Pascual LeDoux Community,
Writing this letter is one of the hardest things I have done in my professional career. After seven incredible years serving as your Principal, the time has come for me to move on to my next chapter. I am going to be the new principal at the new Palmer ECE School. While I am excited for what the future holds, my heart is heavy as I prepare to leave a place that has truly become my second home.
When I reflect on our time together, I am overwhelmed by how much we have navigated as a community. We didn’t just work together; we grew together. We faced the challenges of COVID-19 side-by-side. In a time of global uncertainty, this community stepped up with grace, ensuring our students felt safe, seen, and supported even when we were apart. I am immensely proud of our academic milestones, specifically earning our Tools of the Mind Endorsement. This was no small feat and stands as a testament to our staff’s dedication to intentional, high-quality early childhood education.
I am also very proud to announce that Pascual LeDoux has now Achieved NAEYC Recognition. This honor has solidified what we already knew: Pascual LeDoux is a gold standard for early learning. Beyond the plaques and endorsements, what I treasure most is the culture we built. Walking through the halls of PLA, you can feel the warmth. We have created a welcoming, joyful environment where every child is celebrated for who they are.
I have learned so much from your children—their curiosity, their resilience, and their laughter have been the greatest teachers I could ask for. To you the parents and caregivers: thank you for trusting me with your most precious gifts. I have truly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you and I will miss you greatly.
While I am stepping away from Pascual LeDoux this community will always have a very special place in my heart. The foundation we have built at PLA is solid. I have full confidence that this community will continue to thrive and remain a space for "joyful learning" for years to come. Thank you for seven life-changing years.
Please know that I will remain at PLA for the remainder of the school year and will be at all of the end of year activities. Additional information about who will be leading at Pascual LeDoux in the 26/27 school year will follow in the coming days.
With deepest gratitude,
Sara Snyder-Poole
Principal, Pascual LeDoux Academy
